War of 1812 celebration, exhibit at Naval Academy

This article talks about naval academies celebrating the 200th anniversary of War of 1812.

This article is the shortest article I've ever read in my life. It just says that the naval academies in US celebrated the 200th anniversary of War of 1812. I didn't really care about today, but I was surprised when I thought that it was 200 years after the War of 1812.

While I was reading this article, I hoped that today, the days I live, will be recorded as an important source of history.

Schumer Calls For ‘Bill Of Rights’ For Cruise Ship Passengers

This article tells how serious the problems of the ferry ships are. The senator of New York wants the companies to have a certain policies for travelers safety and comfort.

The senator requires the following:

1.      The right to disembark a docked ship if basic provisions cannot adequately be provided onboard
2.      The right to a full refund for a trip that is abruptly canceled due to mechanical failures
3.      The right to full-time, on board professional medical attention in the event of a major health crisis
4.      The right to real-time information updates as to any adjustments in the travel plan of the ship in the event of a mechanical failure or emergency
5.      The right to a ship crew that is properly trained in emergency and evacuation procedures
6.      The right to backup power in the case of a generator failure

I agree to the senator of New York, because I won't ride ferries if they don't protect my safety and make me worried, causing stress.

All of these things are related to the original Bill of Rights. It requires people certain rights and freedom. It made people to interact with the policies better. This article made a good relevance to our lesson in US History class. If the ferries will have those kinds of policies, more passengers might come and ride the ferries.

The College Declaration of Independence

This article talks about the college students being free from their parents. According to this article, there are mainly two types of students. One type of students want to go to the college near their house so they could meet their family often. However, there are students who want to go far away and have a life of their own and change.

College is a place of change and self development. There shouldn't be any pressure to the people, because college students are old enough to do their work. As the title says, college students should declare independence from their family. However, it doesn't mean that you are literary independence, but you should be able to take care of yourself when you hit college.

As the United States declared independence from Great Britain and learned to live by themselves adapting to the new land and new government,  I think that people have to strive to be responsible for their own tasks, not receiving any pressure from the outer pressure.

Manchester United VS Real Madrid: UEFA takes action

Louis Nani, a player of Manchester United, is sent off the ground receiving a red card of the game. When Manchester United was leading against Real Madrid(RM), Nani's red card changed the entire game. He was sent off and Manchester United(MU) lacked 1 position. They gave lots of opportunities to RM and finally lost.
The thing is, when a player receives a red card, the coach has to come and have an interview with the reporters about how he will act to the player who has received one. However, Nani's red card changed everything that the head coach of MU, Sir Alex Ferguson, had planned. Therefore, he did not appear but he sent his assistant to go on an interview instead of him. Therefore, UEFA(Europe Football Association) is discussing about how much of fine or penalty should MU receive due to breaking of the law.
MU is known as the biggest club in the world and the richest club in the world, and it seemed to me that MU is a Native American Tribe that the UEFA, which I compare it to the English government, is trying colonize them. Manchester was the only club that had strongly acted against UEFA. It seemed to me that UEFA is trying to give them the "Navigation Act", trying to regulate their economic or influence on people.
